FAQ
-
Do you provide a removal and recycling service for my old mattress?Yes, please contact us for a quote.
-
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, MC, Amex, debit, cash, and E-Transfer.
-
What is your return policy?Due to the personal nature of our products, we do not allow exchanges once the plastic has been removed. Health and sanitation is our priority. We can guarantee every customer gets a brand new mattress that has never been slept on, and we can promise not to pass along bed bugs or other health issues. This policy helps us keep our margins and prices low, and is an environmentally responsible practice that keeps our products out of the landfill. Various Retailers may offer sleep guarantees, please see their direct website for details.
-
What is covered under my mattress warranty?Your new mattress is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects for 5 or 10 years depending on the model. The majority of our beds have 10-year warranties. Issues that are considered defects include sagging deeper than 1.5”, squeaking, etc. Please keep your sales receipt. For the warranty to be valid, please use a firm base, and use a mattress protector to keep the mattress free of stains. Please contact us if you suspect a warranty problem.
-
Do you offer delivery? Most of our mattresses are in stock and available to deliver the same or next day. We can also store your new bed in our warehouse if you need the delivery scheduled for a later date.
-
Can you make mattresses in custom sizes?Yes, we can order virtually any mattress in any size, quickly. Since our factory is local, we can usually fulfill special orders within two weeks or less. Please contact us with your request.
-
Can I put my mattress directly on the floor? No, please use a box spring, platform, or base with slats. The floor has no flexibility and your mattress will wear quickly. Also, moisture is likely to accumulate. Placing your mattress directly on the floor will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
-
Does my new mattress need a box spring? You can use a box spring, platform, or frame with slats that are close together (maximum 2” gap). We recommend using a new box spring, but if you plan to use an older box spring, please ensure that it is intact and has no sagging or broken pieces inside as this will compromise the performance of your mattress. Metal frames must have 6 legs and center support for queen and king mattresses.
-
Are your mattresses made from natural components?Yes. All our foams are CERTI-Pur certified by a third party as being free from harmful chemicals and are guaranteed to have minimal off-gassing. There are no fire retardant chemicals sprayed on mattresses in Canada. All of our foams are ECOTEX, derived from soy and minimizing petroleum. We also carry high end models that use Talalay Latex, which is a temperature-neutral and natural foam made from the sap of the rubber tree. Many of our beds also have layers of silk and wool which are excellent for breathability.
-
Are your mattresses Ethically sourced?Yes, all of our beds are manufactured in the Lower Mainland, which eliminates the carbon footprint associated with overseas shipping. Our factory is partnered with the BC Government’s Forests for Tomorrow Program that plants two trees in BC for every foundation sold, replenishing more wood than what is used in the manufacturing process. In addition, the majority of our metal coils are made from locally-sourced steel from Annacis Island. The factory recycles in every corner of its operations. One hundred percent of scrap cardboard, plastic, and wood is recycled. All excess foam, fabric, and fibers from quilting machines are compressed and turned into new products such as pillows and dog beds.
-
Do you carry flippable beds?We stock one flippable model called the Silverstar, which we describe in detail in our products section. Almost any of our other beds can be customized as a flippable version. However, we advise against flippable versions of the eurotop/pillowtop mattresses due to the increased cost and the fact that the length of the pocket coils would need to be shortened and therefore compromised.
